Rotary Conditioner
Purpose
To maximize production capacity in the soybean extrusion-pressing process while optimizing energy consumption.
The Rotary Conditioner is designed to condition the moisture content and temperature of soybeans prior to the extrusion and pressing stages, improving process efficiency and overall plant performance.
Features
The unit consists of a rotary conditioner with a fixed outer shell and an internal rotating tube bundle.
Soybeans are heated through direct contact with the tubes, which are themselves heated by steam, ensuring efficient and uniform heat transfer.
Steam is generated by a closed-loop boiler system supplied with demineralized water. This design eliminates the need for a water treatment plant and prevents wastewater generation, as no boiler blowdown is required.
The rotating tube bundle is driven by a variable-speed gear motor, allowing the production capacity to be adjusted automatically according to process requirements.
The equipment is mounted on a mechanism that automatically adjusts its inclination, controlling the residence time of the soybeans inside the conditioner. This enables precise adaptation to the required throughput while taking into account the incoming material's moisture and temperature, as well as the target outlet parameters.
Air circulation inside the conditioner is provided by a variable-speed centrifugal fan, which automatically regulates airflow to the minimum level necessary for optimal process performance, reducing energy consumption.
